  20.   Introduction
  21.   ------------
  22.     This document was designed for the users of an older version of
  23.   DP Managing, to allow them to understand faster the new features in
  24.   Release 2.21.
  25.  
  26.   Compatibility
  27.   -------------
  28.     DP Managing 2.21 is fully compatible with the release 2.x and the
  29.   script install detect your older database and preserve it. He just
  30.   replace the docfile by the news.
  31.  
  32.   Bugs fixed
  33.   ----------
  34.     The Directory which contains the programs when you manage the commands
  35.   (cf module Borrowings) is now correctly cleared after each use.
  36.     The change of language in the maintenance module is done without
  37.   any Gourou meditation.
  38.     The English messages in the statistics module are not written above
  39.   other Gadgets now.
  40.     In the Single Consultation module, the program size isn't -1 now.

  44.     DP managing understand now English and French : you can select the
  45.   language at start in the ToolsTypes of the icon and you can change
  46.   it during your work in the menu Language.
  47.     All the DocFile are now tanslated in english, even my english is strong.
  48.   The file UserStyle.doc isn't translated because itisn't a DocFile but
  49.   a file to help the french users to use the user interface.
  50.     If an hard error occured when starting DP Managing, the message could
  51.   stay in french because the problem appears before initializing the
  52.   language.
  53.     You can now modify a program (his comment and configuration) in the
  54.   menu maintenance.
  55.     Searching a program in the database in new possible : you have just
  56.   to give the elements you know and DP Managingwork for you.
  57.     In the modules Borrowings you can choose to generate an external file
  58.   which contains the update data about statistics of borrowings. You have
  59.   just to activate the button UpDate statistics on [On an external file].
  60.     The name of the file generated will be given at the end of the process.
  61.   This file can be loading in the module Maintenance with the button
  62.   [[H] UPDATE FROM A FILE] and the statistics will be really updated.
  63.     This function allow you to manage the commands on differents computer
  64.   and to regroups the statistical datas on one computer by loading these
  65.   files.

  68.   Conclusion
  69.   ----------
  70.     I think it's not difficult to adapt himself to release 2.21 because
  71.   the philisophy and the loock and feel is the same as the older releases
  72.   except release 1.23. If you have any problem, please consult the other
  73.   textfiles or contact me directly.
